2014 Is the year I'll be taking a photo at least once a day. Not only with my DSLR but also with my phone. So when I heard a group of enthusiastic woman wanted to do a blog circle to share what they had been doing over the course of one month, I decided I was in to get my blog going again. So here is what I have been working on from the 5th of last month to the 5the of this month.Making a picture every day means stopping whatever you're doing at the most unexpected moments to just get the right one! So when I saw the beautiful light behind those trees I had to park my bike and just get it.
On the less fun side this month, I keep having troubles with my health. I haven't been without a cold for months and my throat feels like there are thorns growing inside. This is the most frustrating and painful thing. Being a teacher I really need to depend on my voice the whole time. And what do I do when I get frustrated? I try to make art out of it…
After postponing this for a long time I had to get my big girl camera (nikon d600 with the dreaded spots) in for a big spring clean. With the whole 365 going on I just couldn't be without a camera. So after some research I bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC LX7. This little trooper has really proven to be all I could wish for in a small camera! The last 3 image where all created with it!
The whole of Europe is celebrating carnival. The last day before our one week vacation we joined the fun and celebrated carnival at school. And when all the excitement was over, this student just fell asleep at her desk. What on another day would make me rather grumpy, was now a fun photo opportunity.
I'm so excited to see what all my other photo friends have been up to! Don't forget to take a look at the fun Valentines themed post from Allison!

Sarah these are beautiful! I am sorry you haven't been in great health. I hope that improves soon. Is that last picture your classroom? ITs so pain! I don't mean that in a bad way but our classrooms here are much more colorful and full of life. Just an interesting point of view into your world. Love it!
Love these images, Sarah! Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
Thanks Heather! This is not my classroom but the study room. I guess it's the most boring part of that room ;-). But it was perfect for this image. My own classroom has a lot more going on!
